The Honor Guard’s mission is to provide full military funeral honors to eligible veterans of our nation’s armed forces. In addition, the Honor Guard represents the city of Tracy by serving on various Color Guard events including parades, opening ceremonies, change-of-command ceremonies, dignitary visits, and many other functions. The Tracy VFW Post 1537 Honor Guard is committed to maintaining the highest level of excellence when performing all Honor Guard functions.
Our Honor Guard is a coalition of members from VFW Post 1537 and American Legion Post 172 and is overseen by Marine Sgt and Viet Nam Veteran Joseph Perez
